Director
Director Childcare Services

We had the honour to welcome back for a workshop with our preschoolers that was both enlightening and inspiring. Eddie, with his deep knowledge of culture, shared his wisdom and stories, emphasising a profound respect for the earth and everything in it. Eddie captivated us with a Dreamtime story about the Bowerbird, using his clapping sticks and didgeridoo to bring the tale to life. The rhythmic sounds and vivid storytelling transported us, making the experience unforgettable. We were able to create some art, handprints and fingerprints, symbolising our connection and unity. A huge thank you to Eddie for this enriching experience. We are grateful for the knowledge and joy he brings every time he visits

The Rainbow Family Centres for Children
The Rainbow Family Centres for Children Minto

Our centres work closely with Eddie Wiradjuri Birrang from Dreamtime Explorers, who guides us on embedding Aboriginal perspectives. He’s also a popular and engaging guest at many of the children’s group times, sharing Aboriginal artefacts, instruments and stories.
Dreamtime Explorers has worked with us for 4 years now and have embedded a Culturally enriched environment for the children, Educators, Directors and all of our 11 Centres. The Journey started from the very first conference to now, we would not be able to achieve the continuous high star rating. We have even accomplished a beautiful outdoor yarning circle with 4 totem poles that identify the beauty of Aboriginal art and culture hand carved.
